Ally Dawson

I joined Manor in April 2022 after working in another veterinary practice for a year. As Manor Veterinary Clinic is a training practice, I was able to enrol as a Student Veterinary Nurse at Kent School of Veterinary Nursing (KSVN). I have wanted to be a Veterinary Nurse for many years now and I am finally able to take the steps to make my dream a reality! I studied Animal Science BSc at Canterbury Christ Church University to gain some knowledge in the field, leaving early with an HND after being offered a role in a practice. I attend KSVN - Kent School of Veterinary Nursing once a week and apply the skills I learn in the workplace throughout the week. 

At home I have a very boisterous cocker spaniel named Merry (after Lord of The Rings) and in my spare time from revision I enjoy playing video games, drawing, napping and exploring historical venues/sites.
