On Sunday 24th March 2019 we held our 9th annual charity open day. The day was a real success and we raised an amazing £1746.97 for Battersea Dogs at Cats home!
We also had some fantastic winners in our annual photo competition judged by Pam Ferris, who had a very hard job indeed! The top four from each class received a certificate and rosette, with the winners from each class being printed on canvas and displayed in our waiting room for the year!
The best in show photo was taken by Maisie Mason of her dog Hebe, they received a trophy and the picture was beautifully framed by Bev at Edge Bespoke Picture Framing .
We also ran a free children's colouring competition including a freestyle and template category. Our winners were Jack, Lana and Florence, whose pictures will be framed.
Visitors enjoyed a day of family fun with cakes, cream teas, fish & chips supplied by Streetz 2 Streetz, a tombola, a raffle, games, veterinary advice, #surgeonselfie and of course the chance to snoop around a real life veterinary practice!
